Jason Atherton: A British chef with international renown

Jason Atherton was born on September 6, 1971 in London. Before becoming a chef, he had a career in prestigious restaurants, notably under the direction of some renowned chefs. After working in several Michelin-starred restaurants, most notably at Gordon Ramsay Holdings where he launched Maze in London, Atherton decided to embark on his own culinary adventure.

In 2010 he opened his first restaurant, Pollen Street Social, in London, which quickly gained recognition for its excellence and was awarded a Michelin star in 2011. Since then, Jason Atherton has opened several other restaurants around the world, including in New York, Dubai, Mykonos, Switzerland and China. His work is marked by a modern and refined cuisine that combines British and international influences, while emphasizing local and quality products.

One of his most recent and prestigious projects is Row on 45, opened on the 45th floor of the Grosvenor House Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This intimate restaurant, with only 22 seats, offers a 17-course tasting menu, highlighting quality Japanese ingredients, prepared with French techniques. Row on 45 quickly gained accolades, obtaining two Michelin stars in 2024, an important recognition in the world of gastronomy.

Throughout his career, Jason Atherton has accumulated numerous accolades, including multiple Michelin stars and top chef titles. His work is distinguished by its modern approach to cooking and its use of quality local produce.
