GO TO WORK ON HAPPY FEET!

To complete our Work Attitude concept and offer work wear and footwear in the same place, LAFONT has formed a partnership with AIMONT (JAL group) to bring you 5 models of footwear that coordinate perfectly with our existing clothing ranges.

These shoes offer your feet all the safety they require and incomparable comfort as these are the lightest safety shoes on the market - just 430g for the red and grey model for example! With their 3D linings (evacuation of humidity, high breathability and quick drying) safety toe caps in a synthetic material (much lighter than steel toe caps) and an anti-puncture midsole in a composite material, they all offer the same level of protection as steel capped boots while respecting the natural movement of the foot.

In stock.

The multi-pocketed trousers feature knee pockets in reinforced nylon for inserting EN14404 kneepads, and can be teamed with a high-collared jacket.

Available in grey/black, beige/black and black/grey, the range is easily teamed with new and existing products in the Work Attitude range, such as our T-shirts, fleeces, cold-weather waistcoats and parka.

ISO 1400 Certification

Desirous of mastering and reducing our impact on the environment, Lafont has committed itself to an environmental approach and this has been recognized with the ISO 14001 certification.

Waste management was the initial phase of the project, with the second phase consisting of reducing our consumption at source and improving the management of these resources.

Lafont is vigilant regarding total conformity to existing environmental legislation.

LAFONT sports the MAX HAVELAAR label

As you already know, Lafont is committed to an environmental and ethical approach.

We have in fact chosen to commit ourselves to using fair trade cotton with the MAX HAVELAAR label.

By using MAX HAVELAAR certified cotton, we are contributing to the principles of fair trade, guaranteeing the 32,000 producers in Africa a minimum price for their cotton, a price that allows them to cover their production costs and provide a living wage for their families.

In tune with new consumer trends and adhering wholeheartedly to the principles of fair trade, we at Lafont have decided that henceforth all the cotton we use will be produced fairly and ecologically and thus bear the Fairtrade/Max Havelaar label. All Lafont garments undergo regular controls by a certification body, the FLO-Cert, that ensures total respect of the principles of fair trade from the cotton fields to the finished product.

We have been committed to this approach since 2005; we have for example teamed up with the company COFIROUTE to jointly develop a new range of products in fair trade cotton. We currently have a similar project underway with the company SMICTOM des Châtelets.
